Manna runs performance lead generation at scale. We buy traffic on Meta, Google and Native, run proprietary funnels, and deliver qualified leads to enterprise partners across hearing care, home improvement, insurance and meal delivery across the world.
At the centre of the operation we have our in-house platform that routes, validates, caps and delivers every lead we sell. It is our technical moat. The roadmap ahead is ambitious: new platform capabilities, deeper partner integrations, and AI embedded in the parts of the business where it compounds margin. We are expanding our engineering capacity. You own real parts of the roadmap end to end, not ticket cleanup. If you want to ship fast, touch real revenue, and help turn a performance agency into an AI-first operation, this is the seat.
What you'll own
- Day to day IT operations: Bug-fixing & continuous improvement: resolve “small” issues effectively, identify root causes, and implement structural fixes.
- AI integration. We are embedding LLM-driven workflows into the platform and adjacent tooling across the business. You help design the architecture and ship the integrations.
- Platform features. You take features from spec to production, including the hard ones. You are not a support function for Operations; Operations is the internal customer that benefits from what you build.
- API & data integrations. Partner endpoints, webhooks, CRM, BI data feeds, traffic source APIs. Clean, logged, monitored.
- Platform quality. You chase root causes, not symptoms. You leave the codebase better than you found it and keep releases predictable.
- Backend & frontend development: PHP/MySQL on the server side; HTML, CSS, and
- JavaScript (jQuery) on the client side.
- A real voice in technical direction. Your opinion on architecture, tooling and AI choices actually moves the needle.
Your profile
- Solid backend engineer (PHP/OOP or similar). You can design a data model, write SQL that scales, and own a feature end to end. 4+ years of real product work.
- Comfortable across the stack. Backend is the centre of gravity, but you can ship a clean admin screen in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery today; we are pragmatic about what comes next).
- API-first mindset. REST/JSON, webhooks, queues, cron. You know what good logging and monitoring look like in production.
- Hands-on with AI, not just aware of it. You have built something with the OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, or you are itching to. You know the difference between a gimmick and an integration that earns its place.
- Structured operator. Tickets up to date, documentation current, releases on schedule. You do not need to be chased.
- Commercial instinct. You understand that every feature ties to revenue, margin or partner retention, and you like that.
- Fluent English; Dutch is a plus, not a requirement.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or Node alongside PHP.
- Prior work on marketing, ad-tech, lead-gen, CRM or CDP platforms.
- CI/CD, Docker, observability tooling (Sentry, ELK or similar).
- Composer, PSR standards, PHPUnit.
Our stack today
- PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery),
- Git, REST/JSON APIs, webhooks, cron and queues, the in-house platform, CRM and BI tooling.
- We are deliberately choosing where to modernise (AI layer, data pipelines, observability) and where to leave things alone. You help shape that call.
Why Manna
- Ownership. You will see your work in production this week and its impact on revenue this month.
- A real platform, not a content site. Our platform routes serious partner volume. Decisions in this system move margin by real percentage points.
- AI-first, seriously. Not a bullet on a careers page. AI is part of how we operate across sales, creative, media buying and operations, and engineering is central to it.
- Short lines. Direct access to leadership, operations and media buying. No layers.
- Terms. 25 vacation days. Pension plan. Hybrid (Amsterdam office, minimum of 3 days on site). great hardware.
A sample week
- Monday: refinement with Operations; you translate questions into potential solutions.
- Tuesday: take a new API integration live and document it; create campaign pages.
- Wednesday: MySQL performance tuning and a small UI improvement in the in-house platform.
- Thursday: wrap up bug fixes, address feedback/adjustments on campaign pages, prepare and roll out the release.
- Friday: demo new feature(s); capture improvements and plan follow-up
